Its not I dont have any authorization.C.I returned the changed vehicle back to Budget **********************, which indicated that I did not have the intention to drop their car at other places. I followed Budget Road Assistance instruction to change vehicle at a different location. The franchised place should discuss with Budget corporation on how to get their vehicle back instead of transfer the cost to end consumer.B.The Budget Road Assistance contact number is shown on rental agreement, and I was told to contact the road assistance whenever theres a problem with the car. I dont have the knowledge or information to know whether the location I picked up my car is franchised location or its the Budget corporation owned location. I dont think the rationale they provided is valid because of the following reasons and therefore I need BBB to help me resolve the issue:A.As a customer, when I rent a car from **********************, I only know I am dealing with Budget. They said they are an independent owned licensee and have to pay to get the original vehicle with tire issue back to *********. I disputed the charge with Budget ********************** but still could not resolve the issue. Instead, they asked me to contact Budget at ********************** directly for refund. Therefore, Budget customer service cannot refund the charge. After my trip, I returned the new vehicle at the ********************** Budget location without being told the one-way fee charge.After multiple calls with Budget customer service, they told me the ********************** office where I rent the car is a privately-owned, franchise location and not a Budget corporate location. Due to significant safety concern, I called Budget Road Assistance and they arranged me to change the car at a closest place (Budget Prescott airport location) to where I was. What happened is, on the second day of my car rental, I found the car has a tire issue which I should not continue to drive it. However, I disagreed with the charge because its not my intention to drop the vehicle at a different place, its Budget Road Assistance arrangement due to car tire damage. I called Budget customer service and was told this is because I dropped the vehicle at a different Budget location without authorization. After the rental was completed, I noted Budget charged me an extra of $300 for a one-way drop-off fee which is unreasonable. I was charged a total of $464 aside from what I originally paid. I havent recieved any refund for my $100 deposit or the miscellaneous charges of $300. I was connected to a supervisor who told me they were going to proceed with something else not sure what that they were going to see whats going on. So I waited and called back today April 17th when the representative tells me the refund was denied on the 6th of April. I called back on the 14th and they said it was actually 7-10bussines days and it was still in process. I called back the following week 11th of April because I still had no refund ,thats when they instructed me to give it a couple more days. I called the same day to customer service when they told me the refund would take 5-7 business days. When we returned the car on April 3rd at the same location of pick up at 4:49pm they charged my credit card for $464, $300 was of miscellaneous charges which they couldnt even tell me what they were charging me for and $100 for the deposit and $64 other dollars Im not sure about. We switched the car where they confirmed I wasnt being charged for anything. We were instructed to switch out the car in ********** airport they said the only place we could do it. Which his insurance has already been set to pay for any damages or losses. The other driver admitted complete fault of the accident. There was a police report and a claim done all in the same moment of ** waiting for a highway patrol. On the day of pick up march 31st we were involved in a car accident which was not my fault. When I picked it up I was charged $100 deposit on my credit card. I reserved a car rental in which I paid for online at the time of reservation with my debit card of $313.
